What exactly is Phantom Prints?
We're a custom 3D printing studio based in Sewanee, Tennessee. We specialize in pet statues, business branding materials, Minjas (mini character figurines), lithophanes, topographical models, prototyping, functional parts, and just about any custom 3D project you can think of. Everything is designed collaboratively and printed live on stream using our Bambu Lab H2C — a multi-material powerhouse capable of printing up to 7 materials in a single run.
What products and services do you offer?
Our core services include custom pet statues, 3D business branding (QR cards, logos, signage, merch), Minjas (mini characters from your photos), lithophanes, topographical models, prototyping and functional parts, and fully custom projects. If you can describe it, we can most likely build it.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the project. Starting points: lithophanes from $30, topo models from $25, branding materials from $35, Minjas from $40, pet statues from $40. Prototyping and custom work is quoted individually. Reach out through livechat for an exact number — there's no commitment required to get a quote.
Can I fully customize my order?
That's the entire point. Every project is built around what you want. Share your ideas, reference images, or files through livechat and we'll work with you in real time to get it right. We make live adjustments during the design process until you're completely satisfied.
What materials do you use?
We print on the Bambu Lab H2C, which supports a wide range of materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PA (Nylon), PC (Polycarbonate), PET, PVA, PPS, and carbon fiber or glass fiber reinforced versions of most of those. For most creative projects like pet statues, Minjas, and lithophanes, we use PLA — it's biodegradable, plant-derived, and produces beautiful detail. For functional parts, prototypes, or anything that needs heat resistance, flexibility, or mechanical strength, we match the right engineering material to your application.
Can I watch my project being made?
Yes — that's one of the things that makes us different. We design and print live on our Kick channel at kick.com/phantomprints. You can watch the entire process, chat with us in real time, and see your piece built layer by layer.
What about shipping?
Free shipping on US orders over $50. Standard delivery is 3–7 business days after your piece is finished. We ship internationally too — reach out through livechat with your location and we'll get you an exact quote.
How do I place an order?
Start a conversation through the livechat on this site. Tell us what you're looking for, and we'll take it from there — quote, design, print, ship. You can also reach us on X (@JonHillTN) or through any of our social channels.
Can I send my own 3D files?
Absolutely. Share .STL or .OBJ files through livechat and we'll review them, discuss any adjustments, and get them printed. If you need help with design or modifications, we do that too.
What's your return policy?
Because everything is custom-made, we don't accept standard returns. If something arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days and we'll make it right — whether that means a reprint or a refund, handled case by case.
Do you help with prototyping and inventions?
Yes. If you have a product idea, a mechanical part you need, or an invention you're developing, we can help take it from concept to physical prototype. Our Bambu Lab H2C handles everything from standard PLA up through nylon, polycarbonate, carbon fiber composites, TPU, ABS, ASA, and more — so we can match the material to your application. We'll collaborate on design, iterate on revisions, and print functional test pieces. Pricing is project-based.
